Designing Laboratories that will Sustain Technical Career Majors in Telecommunications in Venezuela
The present article shows an approximated scheme about the laboratories design,
which will sustain the creation of the Medium Technical career major Telecommunications.
It starts with the study about technical professionals requirements in the country within the
sector, which has been in increase and it needs an especial attention in the educative field.
All of this prompted the creation of a plan of formation with the recognition of the tasks,
activities and consequently the capacities that the professional will be able to execute in the
labor field. By this reason the competences of the new medium Technician are oriented to
different areas such as telecommunications. All this studies generated a technical program
design that must be support with the laboratories design and its establishment in order to
favor the practical content that is specified in the formation plan. Because of this the article
generally describes the steps that must be followed for the laboratories design knowing that
practice is fundamental in this kind of careers.
