The Bouncing Story: International, Online Collaborations
What do you get when you cross a British new-age hippie with a Canadian ex-porn star snowboarder? The answer is in the “Bouncing Story”, an innovative, international collaboration between students in Canada and England that was developed week by week on the Internet. This paper outlines the collaboration process, evaluates the learning outcomes based on student feedback, and contextualizes the activity within accepted best practices in higher education. Possibilities for wider implementation of Internet-based collaborations amongst international schools is explored.
